Musician Brandon Banks, the band's songwriter and vocalist, was born in southern Louisiana in the mid 80's. He's rumored to have been one of the few people to have encountered a demon and survive to tell the tale. He often sings about the dark side of Christianity and is said to draw his inspiration from his battle with schizophrenia. CoD's drummer, Pete Levy, joined forces with Banks to form Children of Disobedience in the middle of the 2020 pandemic in Tucson, AZ. Having a bit of shared history in the skydiving industry they made a perfect match. Their first single "Fuel For The Fire," (recorded @ Osceola Studios) now available on all major outlets, shows that ROCK hasn't died...in fact, it's coming back in a BIG WAY!!!
Back when Banks was just a baby skydiver out of NC is when he first crossed paths with Pete. They eventually started jamming Rush and Led Zepplin after sunset at Carolina Sky Sports in Louisburg, NC.
Much later down the road, Pete confessed to Banks that one of his biggest regrets was not starting a band with him.
As the band continues to recruit new members in addition to recording their EP locally in Arizona, Children of Disobedience is not currently performing as of yet... but keep an eye out. Who am I kidding, you'll be able to hear 'em coming!
